Earlier this month, BBF Trustee Charles Stout visited two medical facilities in Malawi. The first, the Mulanje District Hospital, has received support from BBF in the form of supplies and equipment. Included in that shipment was a new instrument sterilizer which arrived just in time to replace their previous unit that had broken down five days earlier. Afterwards, Mr. Stout met with Sister Mercy, Executive Director of the St. Joseph Hospital in Limbe. The facility, located just outside of Malawi's largest city, Blantyre, is only an hour away from Mulanje which will be receiving a third container this fall. St. Joseph's Hospital's needs are great and BBF intends to direct aid their way.
