Responding To Earthquakes In Puerto Rico

In response to the ongoing earthquakes in Puerto Rico, Brother’s Brother Foundation (BBF), a 61-year-old Pittsburgh-based international aid agency, is sending assistance. 5.8 and 6.4 magnitude earthquakes hit Puerto Rico on January 6 and January 7. These events, as well as the ongoing tremors, have deeply affected communities already struggling with compromised infrastructure since Hurricane Maria. BBF has worked with local partners in Puerto Rico since the 2017 Hurricanes Irma and Maria.

Responding In The Philippines To Typhoon Phanfone

Puerto Rico Rises: Con Tus Manos Program

Puerto Rico Rises (PRR), One of BBF’s most frequent partners following Hurricane Maria, requested funding to transport housing materials throughout the island. PRR began by collecting humanitarian supplies around the continental United States. BBF funded the delivery of these items.
