On Tuesday, February 17, 2026, BBF staff members were pleased to host Garrett English, Partner Relationships Manager for Free Wheelchair Mission (FWM).  Since 2020, BBF and FWM have partnered on 26 shipments of ocean-going containers to the Dominican Republic, Eswatini, and Pakistan.  These shipments, representing a value just under $19 million, have consisted of hospital equipment, homecare medical equipment, medical supplies, and other materials.  BBF and FWM sent 8 shipments in 2025 alone!  Many of the shipments have included requested pharmaceuticals that have been safely and efficiently distributed to patients in need in the Dominican Republic and Eswatini. 

During the course of the visit, we discussed continuing our partnership and potential areas of growth and gave Garrett a tour of our pharmaceutical warehouse as well as the warehouse where volunteers sort and pack hygiene kits and disaster response kits.

All of us at BBF are pleased to be partnering with FWM to send needed medications and other healthcare items to those in need.
