Med-Surg Trips
Our Med-Surg program assists medical providers as they travel around the world to help patients in underserved communities. BBF supplies Physician-led teams with short-dated medications donated by partner pharmaceutical companies. By working directly with medical professionals on the ground, BBF can ensure its pharmaceutical donations are safely distributed to the communities most in need. In 2021, BBF donated $90k of pharmaceuticals that were distributed to 18 Med-Surg trips across nine countries. Despite limitations caused by COVID-19, these medications provided countless patients with critical treatments needed to recover.
