BBF Grant Supports Medical Care in Ukraine
Brother’s Brother Foundation has provided a grant to Operation Mordechai as part of BBF’s ongoing response to the war in Ukraine. With this grant, Operation Mordechai will support medical care for pediatric patients in Ukraine, where access to specialized services remains limited due to ongoing strain on the healthcare system.
BBF has partnered with Operation Mordechai on several occasions since the start of the war, supporting programs that address both urgent humanitarian needs and longer-term recovery efforts. Previous BBF grants supported higher education opportunities for Ukrainian refugees—funding that enabled young women displaced by the conflict to pursue professional training they otherwise would not have been able to access. These education-focused grants were intended to support long-term stability by helping recipients build careers, achieve financial independence, and contribute to their communities.

One of the individuals supported through BBF-funded education efforts is Rikva Lepik, an orphan from Dnipro. With support made possible through BBF’s partnership with Operation Mordechai, Rikva was able to enroll in and complete a two-year dental hygiene program at Hadassah Dental School, earning her degree in August 2025.
