BBF has provided a grant to Life for Relief and Development (LIFE) to aid families impacted by the August 31 earthquake in eastern Afghanistan. The 6.0 magnitude quake devastated Kunar Province, causing thousands of deaths and injuries and leaving homes and infrastructure destroyed.

With BBF’s support, LIFE is delivering fresh food packages to families in urgent need. All food and supplies are being procured locally in Afghanistan to ensure a rapid and effective response.

This grant is part of BBF’s ongoing commitment to provide timely disaster relief and support communities as they begin to recover.
