BBF Supports Tornado Relief Efforts in Eastern Oklahoma

Oklahoma Tornadoes

BBF provided a grant to the Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma (FBEO) to support immediate relief efforts following recent tornadoes that impacted communities across eastern Oklahoma.

The funding is being used to supply 200 emergency food boxes, 350 cases of water, and 500 snack packs to families affected by the storms. These resources are being distributed through FBEO’s network of partners serving impacted areas.

On March 6, 2026, tornadoes caused damage across multiple communities, including Tulsa Tech, Beggs Public Schools, and areas throughout Okmulgee, Creek, Rogers, and Wagoner Counties. In response, FBEO is coordinating with local partners to provide food and water as needs are identified.

Based in Tulsa, FBEO distributes millions of pounds of food each year through a network of more than 600 food pantries and feeding programs. In Fiscal Year 2026, the organization is projected to distribute 34 million pounds of food, including fresh produce, proteins, dairy, and other essential items, serving more than 200,000 individuals facing food insecurity.
