Medical Supplies Support Hospital In Grenada

A recent Brother’s Brother Foundation shipment provided St. George’s General Hospital in Grenada with 15 pallets of requested medical supplies and medical equipment. The hospital serves the country island’s entire population of 113,000 people.
Grenada’s economy relies heavily on tourism and other service industries. When the pandemic put traveling on hiatus, the country took a substantial hit. Reports estimate that Grenada’s poverty rate might be as high as 38% and calculate the country’s unemployment rate to be among the highest in world at 24%.
BBF provided St. George’s General Hospital with supplies specific to their needs, including crutches, hospital beds, nebulizer machines, blood pressure kits, gauzes, and syringes.
Brother’s Brother Foundation thanks Cross Catholic Outreach for their partnership on this shipment.
