BNY Mellon’s Controller’s Finance Department – informally known as SOX – took a break from their workday to volunteer at Brother’s Brother Foundation. Erin Palmer and Michael Dorundo, two interns on the team, were in charge of organizing a group volunteer event to fulfill the requirements of their program.

“We were looking to help a local organization in Pittsburgh and saw that Brother’s Brother Foundation is giving relief to Ukraine in real time, which was important to us,” Dorundo says.

BNY Mellon’s SOX team assembled 250 hygiene kits that will be sent to refugees in Ukraine.
