Brother’s Brother Foundation Responds To Hurricane Ian

Brother’s Brother Foundation (BBF) is responding to the devastation caused by hurricane Ian by initially providing $10,000 grants to both the Harry Chapin Foodbank in Ft. Myers, covering Lee and Collier Counties, and the Feeding Tampa Bay Foodbank in Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties. These Foodbanks are working with Feeding America and disaster response agencies to assist affected community members. BBF will be expanding its immediate response based on needs on the ground. Feeding Tampa Bay has informed us that they require an estimated $2 million beyond their regular budget to cope with the emergency.
BBF is also prepared to send truckloads of water and tarps to the affected areas and will support shipments of food and supplies as needed.
100% of funds received for BBF’s response will be used to support emergency relief and logistics . Credit card donations can be made on our website at www.brothersbrother.org by choosing US Disasters in the dropdown menu. Checks should be made payable to Brother’s Brother Foundation and sent to the address below. Please note US Disasters in the memo field.
