Over $500,000 of medical supplies from BBF Global Relief have been distributed to ChildLife Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides affordable and quality healthcare to children in Pakistan.

Distributed by BBF’s partner organization Helping Hand for Relief and Development (HHRD), the shipment included everyday hospital essentials from shoe covers and surgical blades to exam gloves and face masks.

Ms. Nadia Zeeshan, the global director of the In-Kind Gifts Program at HHRD, officially handed the container shipment over to the CEO of ChildLife Foundation, Dr. Ahson Rabbani, in a ceremony held at ChildLife Foundation in Karachi, Pakistan.

Rabbani expressed gratitude to HHRD and BBF for their support, highlighting that ChildLife’s emergency rooms have a dire need for medical supplies. The donation has enabled the organization to continue providing free, lifesaving treatment to underprivileged children in Pakistan. HHRD estimates the donation will impact more than 97,000 people.

ChildLIfe Foundation operates 11 state-of-the-art children’s emergency rooms in government teaching hospitals, 67 telemedicine satellite centers, 30 primary care clinics, and a preventive health program that reaches over 190,000 families. To date, the organization has treated over 4.3 million children in Pakistan and conducted 115,794 telemedicine consultations.
