St. Joseph’s Mission Hospital in Nguludi, Malawi, recently welcomed the arrival of a 40-foot container filled with much-needed hospital beds and mattresses. The shipment included 75 new beds and mattresses, with the majority generously donated to BBF by Geisinger.

Hospital Administrator Sister Mercy Kanyumbu shared that these new beds will make an immediate difference—particularly in the children’s ward, where they will replace broken beds and worn mattresses. Once assembled, the beds will provide greater comfort and dignity for young patients during their hospital stay.
