At BBF, we’re fortunate to welcome a steady stream of volunteers into our Pittsburgh warehouse, neighbors from across our region who take time out of their day to lend a hand. Their efforts, from packing hygiene kits or sorting donated supplies, create connections with our community in ways that go far beyond the work itself.

Recently, the Montour Boys Volleyball team and a group from BNY Mellon each spent an afternoon assembling hundreds of hygiene kits for families in crisis. The Bethel Park Police Department organized a community-wide drive and arrived with a truck full of donated hygiene supplies, items that will be packed and sent to communities facing hardship.

Volunteering with BBF offers a meaningful way to engage with our work and see the impact of our programs firsthand. We welcome individuals as well as groups of all sizes, including schools, faith-based organizations, and corporate teams, to assist with activities such as assembling hygiene kits and sorting donated supplies.
