BBF has sent a second shipment of essential supplies to aid families and communities impacted by the wildfires in Southern California. Today’s shipment includes six pallets of hygiene kits and ten pallets of bottled water, generously provided by Giant Eagle and a network of dedicated supporters. These critical resources are on their way to the LA Regional Food Bank, helping to meet the immediate needs of those displaced by the fires

The hygiene kits—assembled by BBF volunteers—include soap, shampoo, and other personal care items critical for maintaining health and dignity in disaster settings. Bottled water is crucial for residents in wildfire-affected areas like Pacific Palisades and Pasadena, where fire-related damage to water systems has raised contamination concerns, including the potential presence of hazardous chemicals and debris.

With this shipment now en-route, BBF has two deliveries on their way to support affected communities, with a third shipment already scheduled.
