BBF recently provided a grant to support scholarships at Sambir Professional Medical College, an institution shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals in Ukraine. Founded by the Lviv Regional Council, the college blends modern training with deep respect for national culture, history, and resilience.

More than 500 students are currently preparing for careers as nurses and pharmacists, guided by 88 dedicated educators. Even in the face of wartime challenges, the college has prioritized innovation, introducing advanced simulators, blended learning, and digital resources to ensure uninterrupted, high-quality education.

Nearly 70% of graduates enter Ukraine’s healthcare system each year, making the college’s mission tangible: equipping students with the knowledge, integrity, and empathy to serve communities in need. BBF’s grant for scholarships will provide vital assistance, enabling students to overcome difficult life circumstances and stay focused on their studies.
